I had been running casually for several years and felt like I had hit a plateau. I loved the idea of making the step up to big scary trail events, but that goal seemed a long way off.
Working with Gordon has completely changed my approach to training. Having a personalised schedule that is structured, balanced and consistent has helped me make huge progress in my running endurance and confidence. I’m now taking on challenges and races that I wasn’t sure would ever be possible.
Over the past six months I’ve been introduced to a lot of new concepts, including fuelling, nutrition, strength & conditioning, and speedwork. These have been brought in gradually and thoughtfully, and I’ve been able to realise so many benefits without getting overwhelmed.

Working with Gordon is an absolute joy. His naturally supportive and positive nature, and the right amount of nudge, makes it feel like it’s all you doing the work - it’s not. The training plan is awesome - the right amount of structure, the right amount of flex.
But it’s all the other areas I’ve personally found most insightful - nutrition, fuelling and rest. All the bits that are harder to nail, through your own life’s habits. Through sharing his own experiences and conversations, I’ve been able to start shifting some of the stories I didn’t realise I was telling myself.
